Moon Explorer represents my submission for Challenge 2 within the Creative Programming course.
In this game, I incorporated the MPU6050 gyro sensor to precisely monitor the pitch, roll, and yaw movements of the controller, offering players an immersive gaming experience. Additionally, I integrated a button feature, enabling users to fire lasers from the spaceship, adding an interactive element to the gameplay.
The landscape makes use of perlin noise values, I dynamically generated the terrain, resulting in a procedurally generated landscape. To enhance the visual aesthetic, I utilized rectangular columns to construct the landscape heights, evoking a retro pixelated effect reminiscent of classic video games.
